This copy has the Biddles binder's credit at the bottom of the copyright page, the printer's key at the top of the copyright page starts with number "1" on the right hand side, and has no "Booker prize-winner of 1999" blurb at the bottom right hand corner of the dust-jacket, as called for in the true first edition. mwp.
