For others, though, quality is far more important than quantity, which is why this collection, which comes on two CD-ROMs, is worth a second look. The graphics are all bright cartoon-style hand-drawings, which may be limiting if you want photographs or art in a different style. But there are many variations of look and feel here. The images range across more than a thousand categories, and while there is some overlap, it shouldn't be too difficult to find the pictures you want. That is in no small part thanks to the feature that really makes this collection of images worth considering--its excellent image viewer. The viewer takes a no-frills approach, allowing you to browse the two CDs in the collection and any image files you may have on your own hard drive. It takes a simple point and click approach, showing thumbnail-sized images initially, with a rather larger than thumbnail image appearing when you single-click on a picture, and an even bigger one available if you double click.
