CERCIS CHINENSIS - CHINESE REDBUD SEEDS - TREE OR SHRUB, NEW IN SOUTH AFRICA

Cercis chinensis  Seeds Cercis chinensis, the Chinese Redbud is a plant of the Fabaceae family native to China and Japan that grows between 150 to 1,400 metres above sea level. As a tree, the Chinese redbud may grow up to 15 metres tall with a trunk diameter of up to 50 centimetres; however, the species is normally found growing in shrub form. It also makes a stunning pot plant and bonsai subject. The flowers are pink or milky white in colour whilst the leaf body is almost circular in shape.
