BALANCING TECHNICIAN – Rotating Equipment – Midrand – AA/EE Vacancy Salary offer – Negotiable Minimum requirements: · 8 years experience in Dynamic Operating and Low Speed Balancing procedures and techniques in a similar environment · Knowledge of turbo machinery, compressors, turbine rotors, fans etc · Strong communication skills · Flawless work ethic · Impeccable attention to detail · Customer service orientated · Must be computer literate with word processing and spreadsheet software · Good people skills · Experienced: High speed balancing of rotating elements, low speed balancing, over speed testing of impellers, probe track measurement, basic maintenance on balancing plant, drawing up of balancing certificates Job purpose: · Organise and use machine related tools and equipment relevant in production · Plan and layout work, prepare components or semi-products and monitor related hand-stock · Process the components or semi-products / products according to engineering specification and quality standards · May perform basic machine-related CNC / SPS programming if required · Perform basic of specifically defined maintenance operations · Co-operate with maintenance technicians and/or external service providers with repair issues
