ANTIQUE MAHOGANY SHERATON TWIN-PEDESTAL DINING ROOM TABLE IN SOUTH AFRICA

This beautiful antique mahogany Sheraton twin-pedestal dining room table with brass lion paw feet on castors is a wonderful find and a wonderful classic mid 1700's style table - this table would most likely have been a mid to late 1800's reproduction. These tables were designed so that additional pedestals could be added to the table, making it as long as your dining room could accommodate (have a look at a few of the example I have at the end of the description). The table measures 187cm long x 99cm wide x 73.5cm high. The table has has a little restoration and repair work done to it (see pics), but it is still a beautiful and stylish table that would be incredible in a more formal dining or living room. The tabletop has a few scuffs and age cracks in the wood. The table would also make a stunning serving table for afternoon teas etc. The armchairs are not included and can be viewed in a separate listing.
