7 - 10 Years Degree Comp Sci/Engineering degree, diploma No Location: Stellenbosch Job Function: Software development at a complex level in accordance with specifications and agreed timescales Role Definition: Define new sub-architectures and patterns Design of service components based on functional specifications Development of functional as well as non-functional tests Participation in design reviewsDocument new sub-architectures and patterns Key Responsibilities: Development of new features and products Automated testing of features developed Documentation of solutions Act as a mentor to all team members on their assigned project tasks Participate in training design, documentation and delivery efforts Support, problem solving and analysis for helpdesk & production Critical Experiences and skills: Qualification: Comp Sci/Engineering Degree, 3 Year National Diploma Relevant experience: 8 years IT application development experience OO Analysis, Design and Programming Techniques.Net, C# Web Srevices Advantageous Competencies: An understanding of SOA WCF, WPF or Silverlight XAMLXMLDesign Patterns – MVC or MVVM UMLSQL Server 2008 and higher Additional Requirements: Analytical & problem solving skills Ability to take responsibility for multi-man-week tasks Deadline driven Able to work in highly pressurised environment Team player Good communication skills
