Constructed from: 18mm epoxy coated plywood.  Cladded with 18mm polystyrene insulation covered with 3mm white hardboard. Window is double glazed. Digital thermostat sensitivity 0, 1 degree centigrade. Heat source: 2x 300watt black heat elements. The 2000 egg hatcher is similar but has 12 trays and a hinged door. Forced air flow (5 fans) Power usage: 750 watt. Must be sterilized with formaldehyde and potassium permanganate fumigation to prevent infections.
