In the center of the puzzle is a cute purple pentagon with a little face on it. It fits into the base of the puzzle and is easily removable. Along the sides of the pentagon, are 'petals' with shapes in them; there are 5 shapes (cross, square, oval, rectangle, and triangle.) The petals are actually rings that are fitted around the shaped pieces, which then all fit into the base of the flower. There are 3 petals that stack on top of each other. All the parts are easy to assemble and dissemble. The vibrant colors are extremely appealing. This puzzle is great because it's building up multiple different areas of learning like shape identification, matching, color identification, creativity, sorting, and puzzle completion. This is also a great way to work on fine motor skills.
