Vacancy for a Cloudera Hadoop Administrator, 1 year contract in Johannesburg. SA citizens only. Must have: Hadoop and IT's components (HDFS, Map Reduce, Hive, Pig, Hbase, Solr, Sqoop, Flume), Java, PHP, MySQL, SQL server, ELk framework (Elastic search, Logstash, Kibana). Expectations: Set up Cloudera Hadoop Cluster, Performance Tuning of Hadoop Cluster, Monitoring of Cloudera Hadoop Service like Zookeeper, HDFS, Yarn, Hive, Hbase, Set up kerberos security on Hadoop Cluster, LDAP integration with Hadoop, MySQL Optimization for Cloudera manager, Hadoop Cluster maintenance which includes check for HDFS corruption, copying data between clusters, adding and removing cluster nodes, cluster rebalancing, Implemented High availability in Hadoop cluster, Hadoop cluster upgradation using cloudera manager, Troubleshooting the hadoop cluster at application level, Ensured connectivity between different components in Hadoop eco system like flume, sqoop, informatica ect., worked on Pig, Hive, Flume, Sqoop, Map-reduce, solr cloud, hbase, Titan and their integration to hadoop cluster, written shell scripts to monitor hadoop services and application services status.
