The SPS uses 12V deep-cycle batteries - NOT car batteries (see faq's on our website). If you need batteries included we fit high performance 100Ah Gel batteries into the SPS. GEL batteries cost more but have a cycle life twice that of other deep cycle batteries. SPS-500 800VA (500W) excluding batteries R3,950. Including 1 x 100Ah GEL battery R6,400.
