Petro Hryhorenko was one of the founders of the Ukrainian Helsinki Group, he advocated return of the Crimean Tatars to their historical Motherland, the right of Ukraine and other peoples of the USSR for independence. On the coin obverse above against the glass background there is the arciform inscription: ¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿¿¿ (National Bank of Ukraine), underneath - the Small National Emblem of Ukraine, 2 ¿¿¿¿¿¿/2007 (2 Hryvnia/ 2007), below there is a symbolic composition: a sprout is breaking through a brick wall.
