The aim is to be the first player to play all your cards, and call out tri-FACTa, and you win! By using this math game you will reinforce numeracy, and build fact family fluency. Fact families are 3 numbers that are related, just as the people in a family are related. They make a set of related math facts. For example 12 is the product of 6 and 2 (62=12), but 12 is also the product of 4 and 3 (43=12). Just like 12 divided by 6 is 2, and 12 divided by 4 is 3. Through playing this math game children will use all their knowledge on fact families and practice their skills in multiplication and division.
