TRANSKEI FISHING FLIES STAMP FIRST DAY ISSUE, WITH IN WILLOWMORE

Transkei, South Africa, First Day Cover stamp issue for depicting Fishing Flies with actual Flies in an attractive frame. These Fishing Flies stamp series were only issued from through , and this First Day Cover was signed by the stamp designer, Mr A.H. Barrett, so it is a limited edition collectable.  The added value  is that this Cover is framed along with the actual Fishing Flies shown on the stamps. In addition, part of the history of the rather short-lived Company, High Flies, which produced and exported the flies, is shown in  two pages here.
