Established Plumbing company seeks a Technical reporting officer to compile quotes, reports, and invoices for the company. Some technical knowledge in the field of plumbing / building construction and maintenance is essential. You must have a technical mind, as well as good writing skills. The job requires you to process the plumbers quote cards and from this produce a professional report on the problem at hand, the solution to fix it, and compile a schedule of prices detailing the materials and labour required to carry out the works. All technical information on the problem, causes, and the solution will be given to you by the qualified plumber, you simply have to be able to understand the information (technical mind) and convert it to a laymen friendly explanation and a professionally constructed report and quote (writing skills). The skills and experience required are: administrative plumbing/construction/procurement experience preferred writing skills essential analytical skills essential technical understanding ability essential the candidate must be thorough and meticulous You will need to have a degree of some kind.
