Plumbing Specialists seek a Technical reporting officer, who can compile quotes, reports, and invoices for the company. I have written a job description below. The job is to construct all quote reports and job reports for the company. Some technical knowledge in the field of plumbing / building construction and maintenance is preferred but not essential. What is essential is that the candidate must have a technical mind, as well as good writing skills. The job requires you to process the plumbers quote cards and from this produce a professional report on the problem at hand, the solution to fix it, and compile a schedule of prices detailing the materials and labor required to carry out the works. All technical information on the problem, causes, and the solution will be given to you by the qualified plumber, you simply have to be able to understand the information (technical mind) and convert it to a laymen friendly explanation and a professionally constructed report and quote (writing skills). The skills and experience required are: - administrative plumbing/construction/procurement experience preferred - writing skills essential - analytical skills essential - technical understanding ability essential - the candidate must be thorough and meticulous Your ability to write here is the most important thing. They have to have a very good knowledge of the English language. It must be their first language unless they have actually studied it and thus have a good knowledge of it. You need to have a degree of some kind. This position is vital in the company. There is a lot of pressure that comes with this position that the person must be able to handle.
