STORE MAN IN SOUTH AFRICA

Minimum Requirements: - Well developed English Language skills (speak, read and write) - Ability to follow instruction - Ability to work well under pressure - Excellent organizational skills - Matric - ± 5 years’ experience in stores operation - Basic purchasing - Inventory control - Data processing - Supervision Responsibility: - Able to keep proper record - Assist with ordering materials as and when required - To assist management where required - Issue and receive materials - Ensure that the requisitioning procedures are adhered to - Supervise the work of sub-ordinates - Able to understand and execute oral and written instructions Duties will include, but is in no way limited to: - Follow management’s instruction - Arrange for supplies to be delivered timeously to site - Check and sign for deliveries made - Maintain administration as and when required pertaining to the stores - Receiving - Dispatching - Storekeeping - Stock take - Check condition of various equipment and tools - Requisitions and record materials, tools and equipment requisitioned by operation crews - Initiate requisitions to replenish stock - Inspects, supervises and participate in stock take, cleaning stores and company fleet.
