Product Description Review Spirou--The Robot Invasion is to Game Boy Color what Gerard Depardieu is to film--popular somewhere (probably France), but you're never sure of exactly why. Spirou even looks a bit like TinTin, and he's a nice enough bloke, running around through abandoned train stations, towns, and chalets in a bid to help his pal Fantasio. On his quest, Spirou encounters plenty of people who are nice enough to offer him advice, but not nice enough to actually pitch in--maybe it has something to do with all of the robots and auto-equipped baddies running around. During the course of his adventure, Spirou collects hearts, smashes boxes, and ingests an impressive amount of mushrooms--which might go a long way in explaining the less than coherent storyline. Though not a bad game, it's too confusing to make it a recommended one, either. --Randy Silver
