This Christmas Ale is a unique collaboration beer, the brainchild of League of Beers, brewed specially by Wild Beast and Eat.Art. Christmas beers range from light and crisp (for Southern Hemisphere climates) to massive and heavy (for Northern Hemisphere craft beer drinkers). This beer has a light, approachable mouthfeel despite the big, spicy flavours on the nose and palate. Opaque dark red in colour Mild off-white head The nose has notes of chilli, smokiness, clove, aniseed, nutmeg and cinnamon, which carries into the flavour with hints of caramel and toffee Rob Heyns' Mixed Case Tasting Notes: December - The basic idea with festive beers is that they are heavy and spiced to taste like a Christmas cake. With the addition of some spices from Eat.Art, the final creation combines chilli, smokiness, caramel malt, clove, aniseed, and an array of other spices hidden in the mix.
