SNR EXTERNAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE IN GAUTENG IN SOUTH AFRICA

A leading national retailer in the building industry, is looking for a driven, sales savvy individual for their business. The main purpose of the job: To provide an external presence in the building materials market for the company, following up contacts for new business as well as providing an external link between thestore and the existing customer base. The main functional responsibilities are: Increasing customer base by Conducting “cold calls” to new / potential customers Representing Pennypinchers positively in the market place Structured calls to existing customers Attaining monthly sales budgets Following up on quotations Dealing with customer queries Offering advice and/or alternatives to customers General administrative tasks Minimum Requirements: 3 year’s sales experience in building/construction retail environment 3 years experience as an external sales representative Own vehicle Valid driver’s license Knowledge and Skills Required Computer knowledge (Word and Excel) Good interpersonal skills Product knowledge Customer focus Sales ability/persuasiveness Knowledge of Kerridge Please contact Philip Fouche via e-mail: pfouche@unitraco.co.za or fax: 011-875 9935.
