RSA 1981 THE RARE 20C STATE THEATRE WITH IMPERF RIGHT MARGIN IN SOUTH AFRICA

Before I purchased this stamp a few years ago, it had only once before come to market - 19 years ago as lot 539 in the April 2000 Stephan Welz/Sotheby's auction.  At the time the SACC valued the stamp (SACC 494a) at R 3,000 and the imperf m/sheet of the same issue at R 4,500. So, SACC 494a was valued at 67% of the m/sheet. The m/sheet is now valued at R 150,000 in the latest SACC. There have been three of the m/sheets offered/sold by international dealers/auction houses in the last 12 months. But the elusive SACC 494a with imperf right margin has not been seen.  Accordingly, I value SACC 494a far in excess of the current SACC value. As per scans below.
