It may have taken more than four months, but Harmonix has finally righted one of its few Rock Band wrongs: Xbox 360 owners now have access to a wired Fender Stratocaster guitar controller, just as their fellow PlayStation 3 rockers have had (out of the box) since Day One. Sure, it was a bit of a tough wait — particularly for pet owners whose four-legged companions are fond of tripping over the Fender’s breakaway cable — but the good news is that Harmonix has made the wait worthwhile. The wireless Stratocaster performs flawlessly, is lightweight, and packs impressive battery life (approximately the same double-digit-hour amount as your regular AA-equipement. The much-maligned strum bar feels stronger — we purposely beat on it and it kept right on rockin.
