RED SKY PINOTALE IN SOUTH AFRICA
We love a good collaboration and this one is no different, bringing together Beyerskloof's Beyers Truter, one of the biggest proponents of South Africa's Pinotage grape, and Mark Goldsworthy, ex-winemaker and current brewmaster at Red Sky Brewing. The result is a rich, velvety and thoroughly unique Pinotage Ale, which is smooth like an Irish Red Ale with hints of the flavours of an English Brown Ale. Deep reddish brown in colour Dense, thick and foamy off-white head Grape juice and toastiness on the nose with flavours of grape and bread on the palate Rob Heyns' Tasting Notes: October - Not yet tasted but there is the expectation of faint notes of chocolate and banana, intertwined with general fruity notes. It is most likely a fairly light, unbitter brew.
