QUALITY ASSISTANT IN SOUTH AFRICA

My client from an automotive component manufacturing concern is seeking a Quality Assistant to join their team based in Port Elizabeth. Responsibilities: · Update Policies, Procedures and Work Instructions and Quality Forms. · Issuing of work instructions, policies and procedures. · Generate and update quality charts. · Generate and update audit reports and audit schedules. · Generate and update action plans. · Raising non-conformance reports for environmental issues and updating the index. · Assist with generation of capability studies from collected data to record CP and CPK values. · Log customer returns. · Running macros on supplier ratings, supplier PPM’s and KPI work sheet. · Updating of all calibration on equipment done for each month. · Collecting information for KPI’s from the Proclarity database. · Updating of fault codes on Baan system. · Ordering of consumable goods from stores/ suppliers. · Typing reports Requirements: · Matric or equivalent · 2 – 3 years’ experience working in a quality environment. · Computer literacy, specifically Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access) package. · Good communication and co-ordination skills. · Knowledge of documentation control. · Knowledge of ISO TS, ISO & OHSAS requirements · Archiving obsolete documents. · Knowledge of Quality/ Environmental / Health & Safety Auditing Interested and qualified candidates may forward CV’s to Reference Number: JC
