QUALIFIED AUTO ELECTRICIAN IN SOUTH AFRICA

Springbok Atlas Charter requires the services of a qualified Auto Electrician at our Johannesburg branch. Main Purpose of the Job: To ensure that vehicles are regularly maintained in order to deliver a service to clients as per the Company’s standards. Minimum requirements: Completed recognised trade test in the appropriate discipline Supervisory skills Ability to give attention to detail High level of responsibility Valid code EC driver’s license is essential Minimum of 3 years relevant experience Air-conditioning experience is advantageous RSA Citizen Job Responsibilities: Carry out repairs and maintenance of vehicles Carry out repairs and maintenance of mechanical equipment Advise on spare parts specifications to be ordered Road test vehicles after maintenance repairs Assist with supervisory duties Oversee the performance of subordinates Provide advice and direction to subordinates Assist with workshop housekeeping Comply with health and safety regulations with regard to hazardous material in terms of use and disposal Attend to machinery and vehicle breakdowns Carry out pre-certificate of fitness/roadworthy checks and repairs Be on standby after hours and on weekend when required Comply with all Company regulations and policies including Occupational Health and Safety regulations Closing date for applications: 15 January 2016 Applications can be sent to: hr@cullinantransport.co.za
