Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Dimensional measuring of seats and components. Measuring and completion of ISIR / PPAP and assist with PPAP package documentation. Programming of motorized 3D measuring machine. Quality training. SPC / Capability studies. Calibration of testing equipment. Measurement systems analysis studies. Periodic dimensional layouts. Control of engineering drawings. Compiling of test reports after each test. Stopping any suspect welding process. Stopping the manufacturing process of a component when a failure is detected during testing. Reporting any failures to management.
