The single counter top water purifier will reduce sediment while removing up to 95% of chlorine and heavy metals from tap water. Fits on most threaded sink or prep bowl faucets. Uses 1/4" stiff tubing. Includes a granular activated carbon (GAC) filter. Improves odour and taste of water. Dual o-ring design reduces risk of leaks. Depending on usage and quality of municipal supply filter should be changed every 6 months to a year. Recommended for use on municipal supplies. This filter should not be used if the water is of unknown quality or water that is not micro-biologically safe to drink as this filter will not remove bacteria or viruses.
