Introduction: You aren't a soldier. You are a weapon. A paramilitary force infiltrates a multi billion dollar aerospace compound taking hostages, but issuing no demands. The government responds by sending in its best special operations teams, only to have them obliterated. Live footage of the massacre is cut short by an unexpected wave of destruction that leaves military leaders stunned and in disbelief. F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault Recon) is an award-winning first-person shooter featuring an intense combat experience with a rich atmosphere and an engaging story. F.E.A.R. immerses you in a unique blend of stylized first person combat and supernatural horror in which you are an elite soldier trained to deal with situations that are unexplainable. Take on the role of the point man in the F.E.A.R. unit. Armed with hyper-sensitive reflexes, you can slow down time and experience the game's close-quarter battle sequences in vivid detail. You'll need every advantage you can get as you square off against some of the most ferocious A.I. ever seen in a game. F.E.A.R. contains both a single player campaign and multiplayer modes that are available for play through Xbox Live® or System Link play. Features: Action and suspense: F.E.A.R. features cinematic quality gunfights so intense they will leave the most jaded FPS fan gasping for breath. F.E.A.R. then pushes the action over the top by wrapping it all up in the creepy atmospherics and the prevailing sense of dread found in the best horror movies. It's the game that delivers on the promise that you will be afraid to play it alone in the dark. Fierce enemies: Squads of tactical teams use coordinated attacks and flanking maneuvers to pin you down and take you out. High tech assassins cling to walls and ceilings and ambush you from the shadows. Cinematic FX: An advanced Special FX system showers you in sparks, smoke, and debris, making combat as intense and exhilarating as an action movie. Hi-tech arsenal: Employ high tech firearms and classified weaponry such as the corkscrew missile launcher, rapid-fire battle cannon, and a plasma cannon capable of searing flesh from the bones of your enemies. Advanced game technology: The latest in DirectX 9 rendering technology uses real-time per pixel lighting, shadow volumes, normal mapping, and advanced shaders to create a world so convincing you'll forget you're playing a game. Havok 3 Game Dynamics system makes unleashing hell on your enemies visceral and satisfying. Bodies recoil and collapse accurately and objects react to being shot, pushed, or blown up. Multiplayer: With support for up to 16 players playing simultaneously, game modes include Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Elimination, Team Elimination, and Capture the Flag. There are also slow-mo variants of each of these modes, allowing you to use the slow-motion feature from the single player game in multiplayer. James Bond: The World Is Not Enough Platform: PlayStation Condition: New Other versions of this game available from us: Platform: Pre-Owned/Used: Very Good Condition copies available Product Information Employ stealth, espionage action, and overwhelming fire power in each mission Full arsenal of Q-lab gadgets including x-ray glasses, grappling hook watch, cufflink camera, and more Over 10 exciting missions in exotic locations Follow the plot through real-time 3D cinematics based on the movie Stunning graphics and visual effects Product Description Playing as James Bond, you will accomplish mission objectives based on the settings and plot of the MGM feature film. Use your License to Kill--and an assortment of Q-created weapons (cufflink lasers!)--to put down any bad guy in your sights. Ski, drive, and run through 10 different single-player missions. The game features two levels of difficulty, which will surely present a challenge even to double agents. Review If you've played EA's previous James Bond game on PlayStation, Tomorrow Never Dies, you probably won't be looking forward to The World Is Not Enough. However, although it could most accurately be described as GoldenEye -lite, The World Is Not Enough (TWINE) offers a much more satisfying experience than the previous effort both graphically and gameplay-wise. As you might expect you play the part of 007, and the action is viewed from a first-person perspective. As each levels begins you are given a set of objectives by M and these have to be completed before you can proceed. These tasks mainly involve shooting as many bad guys as possible with a variety of satisfyingly chunky weaponry, but there are also skiing, driving, gambling (one of the most fun) and stealth levels. With the latter utilising some neat gadgetry provided by John Cleese's R (the only actor from the film actually voicing his character in the game). The game follows the plot of the film very closely, with 10 levels being linked by extensive movie footage. An experienced gamer will not have too many problems finishing TWINE in a few hours, and the extensive violence makes this game unsuitable for younger players, but most James Bond fans will find much to entertain them in this diverting romp. -- Michael Bartley

James Bond 007: The World is Not Enough & Tomorrow Never Dies Twin Pack Platform: PlayStation Condition: New Other versions of this game available from us: Platform: Pre-Owned/Used: Very Good Condition copies available Product Information Twin pack of two bestselling James Bond games The World Is Not Enough: Employ stealth, espionage action, and overwhelming firepower in each mission Full arsenal of Q-lab gadgets including x-ray glasses, grappling hook watch, cufflink camera, and more Over 10 exciting missions in exotic locations Tomorrow Never Dies: Multiple game modes: 3rd-person shooting, skiing and driving Various combat styles: Tuck-and-roll, stealth, and others Dozens of classic Bond weapons and gadgets 10 missions and locations based on the movie Product Description Review The World Is Not Enough offers a satisfying experience in terms of both graphics and gameplay. You play the part of 007, and the action is viewed from a first-person perspective. As each level begins you're given a set of objectives by M and these have to be completed before you can proceed. An experienced gamer will not have too many problems finishing TWINE in a few hours, and the extensive violence makes this game unsuitable for younger players, but most James Bond fans will find much to entertain them in this diverting romp. -- Michael Bartley While Tomorrow Never Dies presents the variety and intrigue one would expect from the beloved licensed-to-kill, Martini-sippin' spy, it would have benefited from a bit more polishing. Don't expect this game to be on par with the games and movies that preceded it; in fact, if you're looking for a GoldenEye -like experience for the PlayStation, you'd be much better off with WWII period piece Medal of Honor. Tomorrow Never Dies uses an auto target mode, but it's far too restrictive to be of use here, requiring players to stand still in order to keep the target locked. The game loyally follows the film, but when the action intensifies--such as a hot pursuit on skis, or flying a nuclear warhead-laden jet out of a hot zone--players are forced to either relinquish control entirely or have minimal input. Gadgets from Bond's old pal Q are too sparsely used, and the absence of any multiplayer mode seals this game's fate as a small diversion rather than a stellar accomplishment. -- Jeff Young
