Ultra Rare Turquoise "Egyptian Goddess" Lina Baretti Crystal Collar Necklace Attributed to Lina Baretti, France.  Lina Baretti designed and made pieces for Elsa Schiaparelli from 1936-1938. This collar necklace is attributed to the Wedding Jewellery designer Lina Baretti (1899-1994). This hand made necklace includes beautiful round and cabochon Turquoise beads and small Aurora Borealis beads in an intricate design, stitched to the golden mesh of the choker.  It attaches with a typical hook clasp of the era.  It is all stitched to a baby soft piece of suede. Ultra Rare LINA BARETTI Golden Amber Demi Parure ~ Crystal & Amber Collar Necklace with Earrings Attributed to Lina Baretti, France.  Lina Baretti designed and made pieces for Elsa Schiaparelli from 1936-1938. This collar necklace is attributed to the Wedding Jewellery designer Lina Baretti (1899-1994). This hand made necklace includes beautiful faceted Golden Brown AB beads, round beads, which might be red or honey copal beads (young amber beads) and small faceted cabochon beads in an intricate design, stitched to the golden mesh of the choker.  It attaches with a typical hook clasp of the era, with a beautiful drop tipped with another faceted crystal bead.  It is all stitched to a baby soft piece of suede. Her rare and highly collectible piece are generally unsigned. Needless to say, a great conversation starter. Condition:  In my opinion, one bead at the back, right next to the clasp, is missing.  This set is in excellent vintage condition.  You are looking at an ultra rare vintage Bulova Selfwinding watch from the 1960's. Bulova did not make many rectangular or oblong shaped selfwindinding watches but the 1960's was when square style watches came into the limelight. This stunning watch has a st/steel case measuring 42 mm including crown and 42 mm from lug to lug, very square indeed. Has a raised crystal and curvex style back. To say this watch is ultra rare is an understatement as this will probably be the only time you will have a chance to own it or to see it, to find another one like this will be like looking for a needle in a haystack. Like I always say do not take my word for it, check it out for yourself. The price for any decent vintage Bulova has sky rocketed. I acquired this watch from an American collector many years ago it has been in my valued collection ever since. I can also tell you that its high grade 17 jewel Swiss made movement is superb, because every time I pick this watch up after its been dormant and give the winder a few turns it runs and keeps time like a dream. This watch is all original with its Bulova signed crown except for the new leather strap. To my knowledge it has never been opened and I am not quite sure how to do that with this watch so there will be no images of the movement. I therefore have no service history to report. This watch does show some aging but is in all round good condition for its age and very comfortable and impressive on ones wrist. The great Bulova Watch Company does not exist today it was bought by The Citizen Watch Corporation a number of years ago.  NB. We had a robbery at our shop in Parklands today Various jewellery, Kruger Rands and gold coins were stolen.
