Folding Lorgnette glasses, Tortoise Shell and Gold complete with leather pouch The frames fold inward, overlapping one another until the level on the side of the handle is pushed, at which point they spring open. A small loop is included at the end of the handle, so that the lorgnette may be worn on a chain. To open, you push down on the button on the handle, then the spring mechanism pops out both spectacles. These work perfectly which is rare.
