Vintage Marx Train Set (Swansea GT Britain) #3978 Steam Locomotive / Black / Passenger - Wind-up 1950's - Original Box - RARE An unique opportunity to own this VERY RARE collectors item, to add to your collection. A "MUST-HAVE" for the real Collector. On offer is a Vintage Marx Train Set with a #3978 Steam Locomotive (BLACK) and passenger carriages still in its original box. These trains were normally made in either Blue, Green or Red, which makes the BLACK quite scarce and collectable. The set is dated around the 1950's and was manufactured in Swansea Great Britain. The box shows clear signs or usage / damage and was repaired. The train set also shows signs of use, with some dents and a hook repaired with wire, BUT overall it is still in fairly good condition considering its age. There is no wind-up key and we doubt if the mechanism still works. It would seem that there might be some track sections missing with some damage to others. WOW!!! 2 RARE s Aregentina felt dolls up for auction. I have never come across such rare items in my life before and I doubt I'll ever find these dolls again.   I believe the man is called "Gaucho" and the "lady" is just his wife/partner.    This rare couple is in original condition, with normal age related wear. They are very elaborately dressed, with great attention to style and quality.  Their heads are composition with hand painted features.  Their hair is made from black mohair.  The body is cloth/felt with lots of intricate detail on their costumes.  Both dolls can also stand up by themselves and are very sturdy once standing.  They stand about 23cm tall.   Please excuse the quality of my pictures ~ the dolls look much better in reality.                             Postage:    R40   - via ordinary mail.   Courier can be arranged if required   Please state when completing the order whether you would like your item insured. 24 Piece Double-Sided Wooden Puzzle. By Kolibri, Holland 1950's.  Imported vintage European stock. A very unusual and adorable hard to find 1950's puzzle!! On one side, there's a picture of dwarfs on a snail-wagon ride; and on the other, dwarfs having fun in water! Why don't they make all puzzles like this!?? Would be a perfect addition to any vintage puzzle or vintage toy collection. They just don't make them like this anymore!
