Vintage brass coated Naval/ Military hat box with life saving award - R.H. Pringle. I would date this old hat box to the 1930/40s. I think that it may be naval, as it is brass coated, and further that it may be from WW2 (from the materials it is manufactured from). The box also contained an Intermediate Certificate awarded by The Royal Life Saving Society to Robert H. Pringle in February 1935, indicating that he was closely connected to the sea. The box is round with his name plate on the top, and has a hinged lid with a lockable latch on the front. It measures 17cm (high) x 26cm (diameter), and in fair condition for its age - hinge and latch still work, but there is some wear to the brass plate. The certificate is distressed, and needs handling with care. Great buy for the collector of vintage militaria. Shipping note: This item falls into the 1kg - 5kg category (approximately 5kg). Vintage military medical bag. I believe that this medical bag was from the 1960s, and is a Rhodesian bush war issue. It was bought on auction with other Rhodesian army items. The bag is canvas, with a painted red on white cross on the top. It has some medical items inside, but I think that they were stored in the bag at a later point. It measures 33cm x 26cm, and is in fair but grubby condition. Great buy for the collector.

Vintage wooden 7.7 Ball MK7 ammunition box. This old box was manufactured on 27/3/1966. It has 2 bars at the top which lock in the lid, and rope handles. I would assume that this box would have held ammunition used for the SADF border war. It measures 42cm x 28cm x 23cm, and is in fair condition for its age. Great buy for the militaria collector.

Vintage Sterling silver Red Cross Society Proficiency Medal awarded to E.A Drayton. I would estimate that this medal would have been awarded in the 1950s. It is bilingual being in English and Afrikaans. The medal comes with the ribbon and fastener. Both the medal and the fastener are hallmarked STG for Sterling silver. Great buy for the collector.

Vintage SADF water bottle in pouch. I would estimate that this old water bottle dates back to the SADF border war in the 1960/70s. It consists of a water bottle in the original webbing pouch. The lot is in fair condition for its age - pouch has all clips intact. Only the lid securing strap has split. Great buy for the collector. NOTE: Please see my other SADF items on auction.

Vintage IS Port Leather 38" bandolier/ ammunition belt. I would estimate that this old bandolier is from the WW2 era. It is made from genuine leather with metal buckles and fasteners. It has 20 bullet holders. It was manufactured by IS Port Leather, and is further marked 38". The belt is in great condition. A great buy for the collector of militaria.

Vintage border war brown bush jacket and 2 brown nutria shirts - 1 bid for the lot. This lot consists of: A brown bush jacket. This bush jacket would have been produced in 1978. It was produced by Marburg Manufactures, and has a reference number 8405-18-401-6435. The jacket is extra large, and is in good condition. 2 Brown shirts. They were produced in 1970 (medium shirt) and 1972 (large shirt). They have reference numbers 8415-18-401-6437 and 8415-18-401-6438 respectively. Great buy for the collector.

Vintage metal ammunition box. This old box would have been manufactured in the 1960s, but am not sure what ammunition it would have held. It has 2 metal handles and 2 clips which would lock the lid in place. I would assume that this box would have held ammunition used for the SADF border war. The box has "Government Explosives" stamped on the top, and "9 CTCES SIC in Green MK 127" on the side. It measures 45cm x 27cm x 26cm, and is in fair condition for its age - has some rust but solid.
