Beautiful vintage wine glases and flower vases. 70 years or older. Total of 11 wine glasses (4 red, 2 white, 2 smaller, 3 small), 1 shot glass, 3 flower vases. R200 for all of them. No delivery.

 THIS STUNNING WOOD AND METAL BOX WAS USED IN THE MILITARY FIELD TO CARRY A PORTABLE TELEGRAPH OR PHONE SYSTEM. IT MEASURES L28 X W17 X H19 CMS. IT HAS A BRASS PLAQUE INSIDE THE LID WITH THE MORSE CODE AND ANOTHER PLAQUE INSIDE WITH INSTRUCTIONS FOR "TELEPHONE SETS "F" M.K.1. IT IS BEAUTIFULLY MADE WITH BRASS SCREWS AND FITTINGS. A VERY UNUSUAL PIECE FOR A MILITARIA COLLECTOR   PLEASE NOTE: BOX ONLY          

Vintage brass coated Naval/ Military hat box with life saving award - R.H. Pringle. I would date this old hat box to the 1930/40s. I think that it may be naval, as it is brass coated, and further that it may be from WW2 (from the materials it is manufactured from). The box also contained an Intermediate Certificate awarded by The Royal Life Saving Society to Robert H. Pringle in February 1935, indicating that he was closely connected to the sea. The box is round with his name plate on the top, and has a hinged lid with a lockable latch on the front. It measures 17cm (high) x 26cm (diameter), and in fair condition for its age - hinge and latch still work, but there is some wear to the brass plate. The certificate is distressed, and needs handling with care. Great buy for the collector of vintage militaria. Shipping note: This item falls into the 1kg - 5kg category (approximately 5kg). Vintage metal ammunition box. This old box would have  been manufactured in the 1960s, but am not sure what ammunition it would have held. It has 2 metal handles and 2 clips which would lock the lid in place. I would assume that this box would have held ammunition used for the SADF border war. The box has "Government Explosives" stamped on the top, and "9 CTCES SIC in Green MK 127" on the side. It measures 45cm x 27cm x 26cm, and is in fair condition for its age - has some rust but solid. Vintage wooden 7.7 Ball MK7 ammunition box. This old box was manufactured on 27/3/1966. It has 2 bars at the top which lock in the lid, and rope handles. I would assume that this box would have held ammunition used for the SADF border war. It measures 42cm x 28cm x 23cm, and is in fair condition for its age. Great buy for the militaria collector.
