  J POSTMUS ONE POUND SOUTH AFRICAN BANK NOTE 1st ISSUE DATED 4th SEPTEMBER 1939   This a rare find and not easy to find   This issue of the bank note bears the Serial Number A/92 965783 and is printed in both English and Afrikaans. It has a watermark of Van Riebeeck's portrait. The note classed as a VF as it has minor folds and rust marks. The fold that is shown in the photograph does not show on the note. I really don't know how this fold appears here. THIS IS STILL A HARD TO FIND BANK NOTE Please make sure that you have viewed all the photographs carefully as they form part of the description   This item is a vintage/ antique/ second hand item and by bidding you do understand it as such.  No guarantee or warranty is offered or implied on any vintage / antique items. The item is sold as is. The information supplied about the note/s is the best I can find and I am not liable for any misrepresentation.
