Diffused Optics Since each LED emittor is slighly offset from the center (the nature of this multi-die LED), getting good beam result wasn't easy. Thanks to our custom made diffused optics, we are able to manage the beam profile without dark spot or donut. The beam is a lot brighter and gives higher beam distance than any other type of light reflective method that we've tested. AR coated glass lens is added upfront to protect the optics. Reliability that you can count on We design this circuit to survive the toughest torture environment including: 1) repeatedly over-night burn-in test w/ minimal cooling, 2) over input voltage test of up to 6.5V, 3) over-driven output current test of up to 2A, and 4) high temperature duration test. Inside the C3300 Extreme This highly efficient buck-boost current regulated circuit controls the precious amount of current that goes through the LED at all output levels. This results in constant brightness output regardless of LED variation, battery voltage, and temperature change. The Low EMI management and quick soft-start design provide clean electricity for the circuit and LED to enhance their service life. We are the first flashlight manufacturer to offer a high power multi-color flashlight (single LED) that allows user to use a single 18650 and two CR123A batteries. Excellent runtime and flat regulation D25LC2 Color runs for 200+ hours on its lowest brightness level. The current regulated circuit design allows constant output throughout its runtime for all output levels without flicking. At highest brightness level, D25LC2 Color offers flat output regulation for 1.8 hour using EAGTAC 3400mA 18650 li-ion. The red LED has different runtime due to the different forward voltage. The current regulation control method allows the just right of amount of current going through the LED. One is placed just above the LED to increase the effect of the optics and provide a powerful 5-degree spotlight. The other one is placed between the LED and top cap. This gives the torch an extra layer of protection, and is easy to exchange in case of wear and tear. Especially if used in dessert terrain, with possible occurrences of sandstorms, the lens can get frosted and give blurred beam over time. This way you can quickly replace the outer lens or add a colour filter just by unscrewing the head.
