User note: We have some reports indicating that some VAG K+CAN versions do not get along with the Zone Alarm firewall application. If you are using Zone Alarm, turn it off while using VAG K+CAN. Many virus scanners will adversely affect performance when logging data and performing other tasks which require VAG K+CAN to write data to the disk.
