Professor Yong-Shik Lee skillfully argues that Safeguards interfere substantially with the normal stream of trade, and their improper application undermines the objectives of the World Trade Organization (WTO). Offering detailed and extensive legal coverage of safeguard measures in world trade, this timely third edition scrutinizes this instrument, and its application, with reference to important WTO dispute-settlement cases. In addition to a thorough examination of the WTO Agreement on Safeguards, Professor Lee provides insightful interpretation of the national rules on safeguards and on safeguard provisions within regional trade agreements. Further analysis of the transitional product-specific measures against China and emergency safeguards to trade in services serve to enrich the coverage. The book concludes with unique proposals for extensive regulatory reform. Scholars, practitioners, national policy makers, negotiators and international organizations in the field of international economic and trade law will find much of interest in this unique and authoritative study. MS 66 Nelson Mandela KM-116 2000 Somalia 250Sh Tri - Metal NGC Graded coin.                Nelson Mandela depicted in Somali Coins Madiba coins in Somalia Originally uploaded by makhezulu. By Tula Dlamini With no proper functioning central government, Somalia remains a country in a state of paralysis. In the last months of 2000, however, a group of Somalis calling themselves the 'citizen's assembly' met in neighboring Djibouti and elected president Abdiqasim Salad Hassan and a new transitional legislature. Although, the government of both Hassan and the legislature was short-lived, they tried with some success to assert central authority. Somalia issued tri-metal coins with a face value of 250 Shillings depicting South Africa's former President Nelson Mandela as part of the "millenium icon series". This coin is struck in three phases: centre and two rings in brass, alternately plated with silver and gold. Only 200 pieces of this beautiful and unique tri-metal coin were minted for collectors world-wide.

The name derives from the ancient Greek ??????? (archa?os) meaning "ancient", and ?????? (pt?ryx), meaning "feather" or "wing". Between the late nineteenth century and the early twenty-first century, Archaeopteryx had been generally accepted by palaeontologists and popular reference books as the oldest known bird (member of the group Avialae). Older potential avialans have since been identified, including Anchiornis, Xiaotingia, and Aurornis. ____________________________________________________  Feel free to e-mail me with any questions.

Bush Of Ghosts: Life And War In Namibia 1986-90 (John Liebenberg & Patricia Hayes) Unique images by veteran photographer Liebenberg are included, taken in stealth where cameras were outlawed, and because he managed to get to both sides of the conflict. The book traces the marks left by war on individuals on both sides, as much as on the region that was the theatre of operations on its landscape, its cultural and its political life. It follows the conflict through to the aftermath: the arrival of the United Nations transitional authority and the advent of democracy in Namibia, showing many of the fault lines exposed in the process. The photographs, mostly in black and white, in large format, speak eloquently for themselves, with captions reduced to the minimum. No blame is apportioned in this, southwestern Africa's Vietnam. With historically contextualizing introduction by historian Hayes. Softcover, 272 pages. Published 2011.
