Oxheart Heirloom Tomatoes Oxheart tomatoes are large old fashioned heirloom tomatoes that are yellow, pink or light red in color. The plant itself is more of a fern like plant then most types of tomato plants. They are large plants that get to be about 1.8m tall and they need to be supported as they grow. The soil should be rich and full of organic matter with plenty of fertilizer. they should also be planted in a spot that has good drainage. They require adequate water to form good tomatoes so they should be watered twice a week. The Oxheart takes about 80 days to harvest. Once the Oxheart plant starts to produce tomatoes it will keep producing them until the first frost.
