Prolong the Life of Your Leaders with a Easy Connection 2mm Tippet Ring (15 Rings Per pack) Leaders have become expensive over the past years. One way you can prolong the life of your leader is to use tippet rings. Tying the tippet and leaders through the stainless ring allows you to change the tippet as often as you wish without shortening the leader. No longer will you need to replace leaders when switching from large "chuck and duck" bugs to a small dry, just cut off the 2X tie on some 5X and you are back to fishing. These stainless steel tippet rings are incredibly strong and very light. They’ll float or they’ll follow the leader down on a sink tip or fluorocarbon tippet. A leader with a tippet ring turns over perfectly, and they are light enough to use when fishing dry flies. Just tie the tippet ring to a leader with a clinch knot, and then add the required tippet in the same way.
