Note: Only items specified are included. Any other furniture pieces, décor and accessories shown in the product photography are excluded. Outdoor Fabric: The fabric on the cushion is UV fade, water b'&' chlorine resistant and specifically designed for outdoor use. The fabric cushion covers are machine washable, we recommend a cold delicate wash, once a year/season. If covers are washed excessively you may eventually strip the fabric of its UV properties. You can spot clean the fabric with a wet sponge. To prolong the life of the cushions we recommend storage in dry covered conditions when not in use. Teak: Teak is very dense and oily wood. The oil keeps water from seeping into the wood. this means teak furniture can be left outside and endure years of rain, wind, heat, and cold. Our Teak is sourced from approved plantations in Indonesia. like any timber, teak will show small movements in the elements of nature, this may result in the timber moving and cracks forming in the furniture piece. Every piece of natural teak furniture is one of a kind and will have different colour variations. Over time the elements may cause surface erosion, discoloration, mildew, greying or roughness because the sun may deplete the natural oils. Be sure to always clean your teak with wood soap before oiling or sealing it to your liking.

Toba Coffee Table Set All the best things in life come in two. We present you our Toba nesting coffee table set. A stunning coffee table set on a steel base. One top has a black finish and the other top an oak finish. We love simple geometry. This coffee table set is a great match with our Toba side table. Available in a walnut finish or a clear oak finish.   Big Table         Diameter: 800 mm Height: 370 mm Thickness of top: 20 mm                  Small Table               Diameter: 650 mm Height: 260 mm Thickness of top: 20 mm Material MDF and Supawood, Engineered Wood / Veneer MDF and Supawood When it comes to engineered wood, MDF board -also known locally as SupaWood, is often considered a level above plywood. It is denser, stronger and more durable. For these reasons, it has almost as many applications as solid wood. MDF is a composite product used in many home and professional projects, such as furniture, cabinetry, flooring and even speaker boxes due to its smooth finish, machinability, strength and consistency. All these great characteristics allow us the flexibility to build great looking products at an affordable price point without having to worry about durability. Care construction Sun damage MDF is sensitive to light. We'd recommend that you avoid leaving anything on the surfaces for the first 6-8 weeks, if they're exposed to sunlight. This should help you avoid any marks or rings appearing if the furniture lightens in the sun. Cleaning A damp (never soaking wet) cloth will do it. Dry the surfaces thoroughly afterwards. MDF can be damaged by liquids, so if you spill anything on it, be sure to wipe it dry immediately. If you need to remove any stains, go gently – use mild soap and warm water. Engineered Wood / Veneer Our designers and makers at Furniturespot love to work with engineered wood, also known as veneer. We only use engineered oak for our furniture items because we love the texture of that wood type in combination with the different available finishes. Engineered oak is a solid timber top (0.3 mm of solid oak) in conjunction with a multi-layer MDF base. Thanks to our clever construction, our engineered wood tops do not expand and contract to the same extent as solid wood tops. But our engineered top’s really special feature is the fact that it’s topped off with solid oak, making the end result look just like solid wood but for a much better price! We receive weekly questions why we are using engineered oak and not solid oak throughout. To start with, the price is 400% cheaper than a solid oak top. It is better resistant to the South African climate with no risk of cupping, bowing, cracking of the top and it is easy in maintenance. Do we need to say more? We made a Q&A around engineered oak.   Care construction Sun damage Engineered wood is sensitive to light. Bolusanthus, belonging to the Fabaceae family, is a monotypic genus, meaning it only has one species, namely Bolusanthus speciosus, within the genus. The name Bolusanthus honours Harry Bolus, who was a South African botanist and founder of the Cape Town Bolus Herbarium; speciosus means beautiful or showy in Latin. Some of its common names include Tree Wisteria, Vanwykshout and Elephant wood. The latter common name was given in reference to its hard timber. Originally this attractive indigenous tree was prized for its hard timber, which makes beautiful furniture, rather than its stunning flowers.  The tree wisteria is certainly one of the most spectacular of our indigenous trees when in flower, mimicking the splendour of the jacaranda, which unfortunately is proving to be an invader species in South Africa. Instead of planting the invasive jacaranda trees from Argentina rather try the indigenous Bolusanthus speciosus with it magnificent purple blooms. The gorgeous clusters of flowers are followed by thin pods that hang in bunches. It is a fast-growing, decorative and small to medium-sized deciduous tree that also makes a very attractive bonsai subject.  It is an ideal tree to grace a medium to small garden, as it never grows too big. It can be grown in a container and looks spectacular on any sunny patio. Propagation from seed is easy and straightforward.

Araucaria cunninghamii Seeds Araucaria is a genus of evergreen coniferous trees in the family Araucariaceae. There are 19 extant species in the genus, with a Gondwanan natural distribution in New Caledonia (where 13 species are endemic), Norfolk Island, eastern Australia, New Guinea, Argentina, Chile, and southern Brazil. The genus is familiar to many people as the genus of the distinctive Chilean pine or monkey-puzzle tree, Araucaria araucana. No distinct vernacular name exists for the genus. Many are called "pine", although they are only distantly related to true pines, in the genus Pinus. Araucaria cunninghamii is a species of Araucaria known as hoop pine. Other less commonly used names include colonial pine, Queensland pine, Dorrigo pine, Moreton Bay pine and Richmond River pine. The scientific name honours the botanist and explorer Allan Cunningham, who collected the first specimens in the 1820s. The species is found in the dry rainforests of New South Wales and Queensland and in New Guinea. The trees can live up to 450 years and grow to a height of 60 metres. The barough, splits naturally, and peels easily. The leaves on young trees are awl-shaped, 1–2 cm long, about 2 mm thick at the base, and scale-like, incurved, 1–2 cm long and 4 mm broad on mature trees. The cones are ovoid, 8–10 cm long and 6–8 cm diameter, and take about 18 months to mature. They disintegrate at maturity to release the nut-like edible seeds. The wood is a high quality timber that is particularly important to the plywood industry and also used for furniture, veneer, joinery, panelling, particle board, flooring and boats. Most natural stands in Australia and Papua New Guinea have been depleted by logging. It is now mainly found on timber plantations; however, the species continues to thrive in protected areas, including Lamington National Park where at least one walking track is named after it.

Earthy, industrial-looking oak bed This modern oak bed was always going to be a looker. The metal trend's nailed too, thanks to the sturdy metal base. The solid slat base allows for a low-profile mattress without box spring and there's room under the bed for storage baskets. The back of the headboard is fully finished so the bed doesn't have to be placed against the wall. Our Motto furniture range will add a luxe feel to your bedroom for sure. This oak bed is a great match with our Motto pedestals.    External Bed Sizes  Width  Length  Height  Double  147 cm  216 cm  40 cm Double XL 147 cm 228 cm 40 cm Queen  162 cm  216 cm  40 cm Queen XL  162 cm  228 cm  40 cm King  193 cm  216 cm  40 cm King XL  193 cm  228 cm  40 cm Height of headboard:  90 cm  Will my mattrass fit? Both wood and engineered wood can be damaged by liquids, so if you spill anything on it, be sure to wipe it dry immediately.
