An Underground Tunnel Adventure in Cape Town If you would like to experience a walk below the bustling streets of Cape Town, be sure to attend this exciting Tour. Not only is the Mother City home to one of the seven natural wonders of the world (Table Mountain), it’s also a city steeped in history and intrigue, and those intrepid adventurers keen to swap scenic beaches and wine lands for the subterranean throughways that date back to the mid s will find themselves privy to a thrilling slice of Cape Town lore. Bring along your own torch, some bottled water and non-slip shoes – old trainers, river shoes or gumboots. Headlights are available for R80- each. Explorers need to be physically fit and surefooted, as parts of the tunnels can be slippery and as there are obstacles to hurdle and ladders to climb. This expedition is great for adults and kids over 8 years of age. Children need to be accompanied by an adult. The trail starts and ends in the gardens of the Castle of Good Hope. Secure parking is available at the Castle. Spaces are limited to 24 spots per adventure, so book early to secure your spot. Tickets are R175 kids U16 and R250p/p adults.
