The company specializes in East African countries such as Tanzania and Zambia as travel destination, offering travel experiences for FIT and Groups like Camping & Lodge Safaris, Overland Tours and Mountaineering to mention a few. The right candidate has an aptitude for sales and enjoys interacting with people from all over the world The company further offers a great working environment with growth potential. Responsibilities: • Liaising directly with international clients and agents via email and telephonically • Organising and designing itineraries, combining appropriate lodges and destinations • Managing the reservation process for bookings until completion of travel Qualifications and experience: • Matric and tertiary qualification in Tourism • Understanding of travel quoting • Working experience in electronic reservation system • Knowledge of Tanzania, Zanzibar or Kenya would be advantageous Competencies required: • Professional written and verbal communication skills in German (mother tongue) and English • Computer literate, especially in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook • Have a good telephone manner and excellent communication skills • Possess excellent organizational skills and be able to multitask • Able to work under pressure and customer focused attitude • Excellent team player Working hours: • Maximum 24 hours turnaround time on all enquiries • Saturday duty (on a rotational basis) If you meet the above-mentioned requirements and are interested to work in a great team, please send your CV to anne@akarecruitmentint.com

The right candidate will be assisting with all aspects of marketing for the company and will be working closely with the Marketing Director.
