Yes Thanks is the newest addition to the Kerrlection series. A wider, fuller performance short board designed for knee to solid overhead surf. Features a bottom with continues rocker and a fairly deep single concave splitting into a double through the fins and off the tail. This thing hops and has heaps of pop! Another key feature is a slightly wider tail block and added bump in the outline at mid fins, acts as a pivot point to enhance turning. All of the above make this a very forgiving and versatile design. If you are a ripper and have not tried this yet you should, it will be one of the best additions to your quiver. TORSION SPRING The idea behind the Torsion Spring is to create a one piece hull where the left side talks to the right side with dynamic flex without losing kinetic energy from the wave. This core gives you the quiet, smooth, feeling of a polyurethane board but the lightness of an EPS board. Fully waterproof, if you get a small ding, you don¿t have to worry about ending your session. The Carbon Kevlar tape used along the rail in this 3D perimeter reinforced construction resists buckling. In the tradition of the Rocket and its many knock offs, the Shortround bridges the gap between easy riding ¿cheater¿ boards and the HP Shortboard. Tested all around Southern California in the summer of 2014, this board has more than impressed. The buzz about it is spreading fast. The speed comes from a low entry rocker and wide-ish nose, with a forward wide point and generous concave throughout. The performance comes from a moderate, but not flipped up, tail rocker, a double concave through the fins and the same sort of modern bump squash tail that you would find on a typical contest style, small wave HP shortboard. The Yes Thanks comes from Bender lineage, which is our popular performance board for good, hollow waves. The bottom features plus overall rocker and a fairly deep single concave splitting into a double through the fins and off the tail. We've had good feedback on the rocker and bottom, but many requests for a wider outline overall and fuller rails, and this helped to make the Yes Thanks more versatile and forgiving. Other key features are the added bump in the outline at mid fins, which acts as a fulcrum or PIVOT POINT to enhance turning, and the slightly wider tail block. An all around, high performance shortboard designed for down the line speed and easy rail-to-rail transitions, the Black & White is based on a favorite hand shape Britt Merrick made Dane Reynolds for Santa Barbara area point breaks. The Black & White has a fairly low entry rocker, a staged flat-ish section between the feet, and an accelerated kick out the tail. A single concave runs the length of the board, is deepest near the front fins and shallows into a hint of vee exiting the tail block. A flat deck design, the Black & White offers improved flex characteristics, a solid under-your-feet feel, and full rails. The board should be ridden about your same height to 2¿ longer than you are tall. Because of the flat deck ride the board 1/8¿ thinner than your normal shortboard to keep the same general volume.
