Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the building. Inspecting the building and handling problems according to policies and procedures. Act as a liaison between the tenants and Property Managers. Maintain and monitor equipment in the building. Attendance at all meetings called by Management. Building Manager is expected to help raise the level of safety in the various Buildings. Complete building checks daily. Ensure removal of any obstructions, trash or other hazards in the facility. Treat tenants in a fair, respectful and consistent manner. Building Manager must ensure all paperwork is correctly completed and returned to their correct persons. In the case of an incident, accident, ejection, or injury, complete the report that appears in the facility binder in detail. Maintain a specific file on each Building which contains relevant information and resources. To regularly update and review the information contained in these binders. Included in the binder are all the necessary forms that a Building Manager may need in the course of their duties. The Building Manager must be personally responsible for everything within this binder. Coordinates building maintenance and repairs with Buildings and management. Provide occupants with updates of electrical, water and other service outages and scheduled shutdowns. Oversee building staff such as cleaning and security. Other duties as assigned - these duties include any special projects that management may ask you to do. Qualifications Required: Candidate must have extensive previous experience in Building Management. Previous maintenance experience. Leadership or management experience. Customer Service Skills. Candidate must be assertive but fair. Ability to problem solve and make effective decisions relating to building security. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work with a large team. Flexibility. Should you not have at least 5 years Commercial Building Management experience and should you not meet at least 6 of the requirements above, your application will be discarded and not looked at.
