The transducer also offers a double silicone spider design that improves long term mechanical reliability and mechanical linearity. The large format ferrite based magnet structure produces very high conversion efficiency. Inside/outside winding geometry assists in coil cooling and improves both transducer power handling and system reliability. The GST-181200 also features a very long air gap height that improves transducer linearity. The design features very large diameter silicone impregnated spiders to insure long term linearity. The GST-181200 also incorporates a proven double spider design that effectively controls off axis displacement of the coil assembly. The silicone impregnated spiders and very high system power handling will insure excellent long term performance. The cone is waterproof to improve reliability in high humidity environments. The GST-181200 offers very smooth and controlled amplitude response and has a recommended high frequency limit of 150Hz. This light weight design, coupled with a low moving mass cone offers excellent transient response. The large format ferrite based magnet structure produces very high conversion efficiency. The GST-15500 also features a very long air gap height that improves transducer linearity. The GST-15500 offers very smooth and controlled amplitude response to 1500Hz and has a useable high frequency limit of 2000Hz. The GST-15500 is an excellent choice for high output two way system designs where extended low frequency energy is specified. It is ideally coupled with P Audio BM-D series and SD series compression drivers. P Audio offers a wide range of high frequency horns that can provide short throw or medium throw designs when coupled with the GST-15500. The design features very large diameter impregnated spiders to insure long term linearity. The impregnated spiders and very high system power handling will insure excellent long term performance. The P Audio PreNeo-450N is a state of the art high output compression driver. Advanced engineering and manufacturing methods have produced an extremely reliable and wide bandwidth device that also features very high fidelity. The new PreNeo-450N driver utilizes the recently developed CRT technology to substantially improve both the time domain response and reduce distortion through the critical upper vocal range (1.5kHz to 5kHz). This new technology, called Cavity Resonance Technology (CRT) acts to acoustically minimize the cavity found under all suspension driver suspension elements. By employing CRT technology, P Audio engineers have been able to greatly improve the vocal accuracy in the frequency range where vocal intelligibility is located. Magnetic fluid has also been added to increase thermal transfer and mechanical damping. These changes to the diaphragm and magnet structure assembly have also increased the sound pressure levels and smoothed the response between 10kHz and 20kHz. The result is a more accurate system, particularly for vocal range program material. The PreNeo-450N is a medium format titanium based diaphragm assembly mated to a close spaced circumferential phase plug geometry. The voice coil is a rectangular geometry high temperature aluminum to insure extended high frequency response. The 1.0 inch (25.4mm) throat exit makes the 450N an excellent choice for extended bandwidth and ultra high frequency applications such as three way designs. The PreNeo-450N is ideally suited for line array applications or other applications where a mid bass horn or direct radiator driver is also used.
