We have two lovely accommodating stables. We have two lovely and helpful grooms. We have two paddocks they are very big and full of shade. There is a mare and gelding paddock. We have a grass arena soon to be sand with a few jumps. A lovely place to go on hacks for as shown in the picture.

We have +/- 6 acres of land for lease. The land could be used for small scale farming or grazing for livestock (sheep / goats / cattle). There are 2 x outbuildings / old stables that could be used for housing approximately 6 horses or converted for other livestock. Good water supply. Separate access from main house. I have 1 stable available in Colleen Glen for your best friend to keep my two horses company. The monthly fee includes 1 large stable, bedding, feed (concentrates and hay) fed twice a day, regular grooming, daily stable cleaning and general daily care. I have no grooms, your horse will be cared for by myself along with my own horses. Horses graze during the day on approx. 1.2 hectares of pastures with ample shade from large trees. The stables are opened at night for shelter and feeeding purposes. Stable doors are left open so they can come and go as they please. Horses are blanketed in winter (blankets not supplied). There is space in the tack room for your saddles and bridals and a gate remote will be given for easy access. There is a small schooling grass arena available on the property and have close access to the Island Nature Reserve (permits are required). Your horse must come with proof of inoculations and is to be dewormed on arrival. Please call if you are interested and want to come and inspect the premises. Price approx. We have lush grazing pastures, two field shelters, a round arena and a flat working area. Natural horse-keeping, no shoes, rugs or stables, and the horses live in a herd. Supervision on the farm. Suit retired horses, or youngsters coming on, but there are also outrides available in the Jonkerhoek Nature Reserve. Family friendly smallholding in the Jonkershoek Valley. Currently we have only one lonely mare! Rate is R1 600 per horse, with a discount for more than one horse. Feed if required is provided by the owner (we do the labour 6 days a week) and if we feed Tef then we divide it pro rata
