Their wives and families and letters home; the ordeal of visits; the close security and censorship which prevails; their outdoor activities in the Garden of Eden (Anthony); their illnesses--- this revives the memory of men who are largely forgotten today- and since this is so, it is difficult to indicate what interest a book such as this will have.
