Item is in stock, please note payment must be made within 24 hours of order placed. This classic game of pure negotiation has taken many forms over the years. The first Avalon Hill version has perhaps the widest release, but Avalon Hill (Hasbro) re-released the game in , complete with a colorful new map and metal pieces. They recently released a 50th anniversary edition with a new map and cardboard pieces representing the armies and navies. In the game, players represent one of the seven "Great Powers of Europe" (Great Britain, France, Austria, Germany, Italy, Russia or Turkey) in the years prior to World War I. Play begins in the Spring of , and players make both Spring and Autumn moves each year. There are only two kinds of military units: armies and fleets. On any given turn, each of your military units has limited options: they can move into an adjoining territory, support an allied unit in an attack on an adjoining territory, support an allied unit in defending an adjoining territory, or hold their position. Players instruct each of their units by writing a set of "orders." The outcome of each turn is determined by the rules of the game. There are no dice rolls or other elements of chance. With its incredibly simplistic movement mechanics fused to a significant negotiation element, this system is highly respected by many a gamer. Avalon Hill Complexity rating - 3

Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance II (PS2) Platform: PlayStation2 Condition: New Other versions of this game available from us: Platform: Pre-Owned/Used: Very Good Condition copies available Product Information Five customizable characters Develop throughout the game Over 40 fast paced hack n¿¿¿¿¿ slash levels to explore Hidden areas, secret characters & hundreds of items to discover Single and two-player cooperative modes Product Description Darkness gathers yet again in the sprawling port city of Baldur's Gate. Bloodthirsty bandits stalk the trade roads and a secret society of heartless assassins dominates the criminal underworld, abducting citizens on moonless nights and dragging them screaming into the darkness. The city's most recent saviours vanished along with the Onyx Tower and so, in heroic tradition, adventurers throughout the Western Heartlands make the journey to Baldur's Gate to meet their great and unknown fate. Embark on a new adventure in Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II and brave terrible dangers in search of fortune, glory and power. Face a multitude of sinister enemies while travelling through many spectacular environments in this action-packed fantasy game. Rid the lands of chaos, mastering skills, spells and deadly weapon. The fate of thousands hangs in the balance. Review Billed as the role-playing game for people that didn't like role-playing games, the original Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance was a surprise smash in 2003; now the sequel, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II, is here to carry on the good fight--almost literally, as the last game ended on a bit of cliff-hanger with our heroes being menaced by the vampire king Mordoc. Despite the Baldur's Gate name Dark Alliance II, with its real-time combat and simplified stats and rules, is more Gauntlet (or Diablo if you're too young to recognise that reference) than the Baldur's Gate PC games. This is not to imply that it's a simplistic button-basher, though; the combat is highly involved, with different styles of melee, distance and magic attacks depending on which character you choose to control. When you're not fighting (which isn't often) you can take part in those other stalwart features of the RPG genre, shopping and levelling up--both of which are made as easy and interesting as possible. If you're wondering what has changed or been improved for the sequel, the simple answer is not much. Even the graphics seem the same and the few gameplay features that have been altered are entirely minor. To be fair, though, there wasn't much wrong with the original. -- David Jenkins

Intense boss battles ¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿ battle it out against gamma-enhanced super villains like Flux, Rampage and Half Life Hollywood quality VO and soundtrack featuring detailed voice over from Eric Bana as Bruce Banner Take down the Hulk¿¿¿¿¿s foes with over 25 devastating attacks, including super attacks like the Sonic Clap and Gamma Slam Product Description Review If you're not content with just watching Hulk on the screen or reading about him in comics and want to be the big green beast--and if you like the punishment of super villainy to involve as much collateral damage as possible--then step right up for some true video gaming mayhem. Based loosely on the Ang Lee movie, Hulk the game casts you as the weedy Bruce Banner, who rather inconveniently turns into a giant green monster whenever he gets annoyed (good job he doesn't take the London Underground to work or he'd burst a blood vessel). Although the movie features only human bad guys the video game features a number of the Hulk's comic-book enemies, including big-headed bad guy the Leader. At first glimpse the game appears to be a fairly ordinary 3-D scrolling beat-'em-up, but it manages to spice things up via the fact that you actually spend a significant part of the game as Bruce Banner, sneaking around army labs and the like in a manner that would make Solid Snake proud. No doubt Hulk combat is what you're really interested in, and here the game doesn't disappoint, with lots of moves and the ability to destroy just about anything within reach, including walls and even the floor beneath you. Simplistic it may be, but it's good fun for those with a short attention span. -- David Jenkins Manufacturer's Description One year after the events that take place in the film; troubled scientist Bruce Banner and his enraged alter ego, the Hulk, are forced into battle against the terrifying forces of the Leader, whos intent on using the Hulks gamma energy to unleash a relentless army of gamma creatures on the world.

Luigi's Mansion (GameCube) Platform: GameCube Condition: New Other versions of this game available from us: Platform: Pre-Owned/Used: Very Good Condition copies available Product Information Clear Luigi's new home of ghosts Explore a graphically spectacular haunted mansion Translucent ghosts, mirrored images, and particle effects Comic shenanigans and riveting gameplay From the mind of Mario and Zelda creator Shigeru Miyamoto Also available: Official Strategy Guides from Prima and Brady Product Description Join Luigi as he searches for Mario in this blockbuster game for the Nintendo Gamecube. Review When Luigi's Mansion was first announced many assumed it would be a title to follow in the legendary footsteps of Super Mario World and Super Mario 64. It's nowhere near as epic as either of these titles, though, and also unlike them will never be accused of being the "best game ever". Once you get over the shock of the game being on such a small scale, though, its various charms do become obvious. The game involves you, as Mario's brother Luigi, trying to exorcise a haunted mansion of ghosts by sucking them into a vacuum cleaner. If only Bill Murray and the Catholic Church had realised it was so easy. Except it's not really that easy at all: the complications and cleverness of the game come in with the use of light and shadow. Many ghosts cannot be seen unless you reveal their shadow or manipulate the objects in a room to make them appear. These imaginative--but never frustrating--puzzles add to the otherwise simplistic process of catching the smaller ghosts by freezing them with a beam of light and sucking them up the Hoover. It's only a minor classic but Luigi's Mansion does a good job of showing off some off the Gamecube's graphical effects and providing a game which all the family can enjoy. If only it was a bit longer... but then, knowing Nintendo, if it was longer it wouldn't have come out until the space year 3050.-- David Jenkins

Valora Valley Golf Sega Saturn  - Good Condition, Complete, Case Cover is Wrinkled Valora Valley Golf  is an exaggerated approach to the world of golfing. While it does feature traditional golf course hazards like water hazards and bunkers, lava pits and greens on top of a mountain are also present. The courses ranges from basic looking golf courses with long fairways where the player can drive the ball 450 yards in one shot and giant water hazards to ancient ruins and a course inside of a volcano. The controls are simplistic, click one time to bring up a meter, clicking again to set the angle and once more for how much power to drive the ball with special shots are obtained at the end of the meter. It doesn't feature any real life golfers or courses

BATMAN ARKHAM ASYLUM GOTY EDITION PS3  GAME The Dark Knight returns in the first game to do him justice in his more than 20 year history in video games. Not based on any specific comic book or movie it takes all the best ideas and visuals from all of Batman's many incarnations to create a unique spin on one of pop culture's greatest icons. The entire game takes place within Arkham Asylum, where The Joker and his allies have overtaken the facility and set a trap for Batman. This is no simplistic beat 'em-up though, with Batman forced to prove his status as the world's greatest detective with a number of complex forensic style puzzles. When it does come to combat though you must still use your cunning as much as your fists, as you stalk unaware enemies and distract them with the bodies or screams of their cronies. F-Zero: Maximum Velocity (GBA) Platform: Game Boy Advance Condition: New Other versions of this game available from us: Platform: Pre-Owned/Used: Very Good Condition copies available Product Description How about a little frictionless racing? F-Zero: Maximum Velocity, based on the ground-breaking game for the SNES, puts you in the cockpit of a futuristic hovercraft racer. Using the Game Boy Advance's shoulder buttons to steer, players will slide through curves and around obstacles as they hurtle their high-speed, low-gravity racers across the finish line. F-Zero: Maximum Velocity incorporates never-before-seen tracks and vehicles into the traditional mix of speed-pads and jumps. Best of all, up to four Game Boy Advance units can be networked via the separately sold communication cable for head-to-head racing. Review If you like blazing-fast racing games (and have thumbs of steel), F-Zero: Maximum Velocity is one of the wildest rides yet for a handheld system. Based on the famous Super NES game of yore, the futuristic F-Zero asks you to pick from a starting line-up of four hovercrafts that tear across flat but hazardous tracks. Your goal: compete for first place so you can advance to the next track and difficulty level. To have any success in F-Zero, great reflexes and a memory for track detail are absolute musts. While the controls are responsive, in general the frictionless racing means that almost all cars have a suitably loose feel to them, and require skilled pilots to handle corners. Be warned that gamers with adult-size thumbs may be in for a very painful experience due to the constant mashing of the GBA's shoulder buttons. When you get bored of racing the computer, you can take on up to four opponents via the link cable--and unlike multiplayer Game Boy games, only one cartridge is needed. While F-Zero features many tracks and skill levels, there isn't much depth beyond the simplistic (yet challenging) racing. Fortunately, the silky-smooth animation and detailed graphics should keep fans of speedy arcade racers taxing their thumbs long after they've brought home the chequered flag. -- Mark Brooks

Hulk (XBox) Platform: Xbox Condition: New This Title Also Available As: Pre-Owned/Used: Very Good Condition games available Please get in touch for information on these options. Star Wars Episode 1: Battle for Naboo (U) Platform: Nintendo 64 Condition: Pre-Owned/Used in Very Good Condition This Title Also Available As: New: Brand New and Sealed games available Please get in touch for information on these options. Pre-owned games supplied with applicable serial keys. However - please note: Any single use keys or activation codes may have already been used/redeemed. Product Information Atention defenders of Naboo, The trade federation must be stopped! Storm through more than 15 missions over land, sea and space As your freedom fighters rally against the droid armies Product Description Review At times fun, but more often frustrating, Star Wars Episode I: Battle for Naboo has plenty going for it. Unfortunately, the good is overshadowed by a darker side. Were you one of the millions that enjoyed the very popular Rogue Squadron ? If you were, then get ready for more of the same--only this time wrapped around a lucrative Episode I license. This should appeal to newly initiated fans and hardball line-campers alike, as there's more of a concrete storyline to follow than the sidelined plot of RS. Just as in the aforementioned classic, Battle for Naboo revolves around the collection of Gold Medals. New vehicles abound, and there's more than enough variety in the game's locales. The ability to switch craft at any time during the missions doesn't hurt the replay factor, either. If you discover the flash speeder doesn't have enough firepower to finish off that ATAT tank, you can just enter a different hanger and take control of a police cruiser. The graphics are astounding, even better than what RS showcased. The game deals fantastic details everywhere--even the explosions are incredible. The sound, though, is very disappointing, especially when you consider that Factor 5 is behind this. The control and manoeuvring should have been giving some more fine-tuning, too. This type of game relies on precise controls, but Battle for Naboo suffers some sloppy movements and inaccurate targeting problems. This, combined with simplistic backgrounds and missions that are too straightforward, helps deflate what could have been a great game into merely an OK one. There's plenty of replay value here, but this game's certainly not for everyone. --Todd Mowatt

F-Zero: Maximum Velocity (GBA) (U) Platform: Game Boy Advance Condition: Pre-Owned/Used in Very Good Condition This Title Also Available As: New: Brand New and Sealed games available Please get in touch for information on these options. Pre-owned games supplied with applicable serial keys. However - please note: Any single use keys or activation codes may have already been used/redeemed. Product Information Arcade racing game Operate hovercraft along futuristic tracks Slide into turns and around obstacles Steer your vehicle with the GBA's shoulder buttons Network 4 GBAs for head-to-head racing Product Description How about a little frictionless racing?

Hulk (PS2) (U) Platform: PlayStation2 Condition: Pre-Owned/Used in Very Good Condition This Title Also Available As: New: Brand New and Sealed games available Please get in touch for information on these options. Pre-owned games supplied with applicable serial keys. However - please note: Any single use keys or activation codes may have already been used/redeemed. Product Information Use Bruce's brains and stealth or the incredible strength and rage of the Hulk 30 massive levels with fully destructible and interactive environments Intense boss battles against gamma-enhanced super villains like Flux, Rampage and Half Life Over 25 devastating attacks, including super attacks like the Sonic Clap and Gamma Slam Voice-over features members of the film cast, including Eric Bana For 1 player Product Description Hulk the game takes place one year after the events in Hulk the movie. Troubled scientist Bruce Banner and his enraged alter ego the Hulk are forced into battle against the terrifying forces of the Leader, who's intent on using the Hulk's gamma energy to unleash a relentless army of gamma creatures on the world. Review If you're not content with just watching Hulk on the screen or reading about him in comics and want to be the big green beast--and if you like the punishment of super villainy to involve as much collateral damage as possible--then step right up for some true video gaming mayhem. -- David Jenkins

Title: Lost Eden Platform: Mac Condition: disc only Lost Eden is an adventure game produced by Cryo Interactive and published by Virgin Interactive in March 1995 for the PC running DOS, Macintosh, 3DO and CD-i. It is set in a world where humans and dinosaurs coexist. In it, one plays the human character Adam, and is accompanied by a number of characters during the game. Although it did not receive much attention from the gaming media and public, it has been congratulated for a good standard of graphics for its time, largely using pre-rendered 3D graphics, and also for its creativeness and detail. However, it has also been criticized for being too short and simplistic. Perhaps the most distinct quality of the game was the background music created by Stéphane Picq.

Worms 2 - Classic Series (U) Platform: Windows 95 Condition: Pre-Owned/Used in Very Good Condition This Title Also Available As: New: Brand New and Sealed games available Please get in touch for information on these options. Pre-owned games supplied with applicable serial keys. However - please note: Any single use keys or activation codes may have already been used/redeemed. Product Information 6-player game over a local network or the Internet Customizing with selection of switches, options, and toggles Worm speech, weapons, and landscapes editors Cartoon-style animation Go it alone against 17 other players in an 18-player hot-seat game Product Description Review A perfect sequel, Worms 2 keeps all of the charm that made Worms so appealing while adding more weapons, more levels, and more funny little voices. What makes the title so engrossing is just how simple the interface is and how easy it is to bring friends, be they gamers or not, into a game. Teams can spend from ten minutes to ten hours marching their worms around a 2D map and attempting to annihilate each other. The turn-based gameplay doesn't slow the feel down at all, and the action is always fast and hilarious. It's not often that a game comes along that's as simple as it is satisfying, but here's Worms 2 with proof that it can be done. Like the original Worms, this is a turn-based strategy game that has an arcade feel to it, but it's wickedly intuitive, funny, and challenging. It's nothing fancy; just some worms, some weapons, and a sense of humor mingled with a classic contest of kill-or-be-killed. But these aren't your everyday, garden-variety worms: These are animated Rambo-style worms whose antics bring tons of charm to this cutesy little game. As you begin each game your worms (up to eight on a team) are randomly placed on the landscape along with the opposing teams, and during your turn, you simply try to destroy the other teams' worms using a multitude of inventive weapons. Last worm standing wins--that's all there is to it. Though the concept is amazingly simple, Worms 2 is consistently challenging. Each worm begins with 100 hit points, and the goal is to wear each enemy worm down to zero, killing them before they can do the same to you. During each turn, you select a worm, equip him with the weapon you want him to use, then aim and fire--but don't take too long; the clock is ticking. Luckily, the controls are kept simple; just use the cursor keys to move your worm around the map and target your opponent, then hit the spacebar to blast away. The weapons range from a simple shotgun to full-blown air strikes and hilarious killers like the super banana bomb, holy hand grenade, and homing sheep. But it isn't just point-and shoot-mayhem. You'll have to carefully select which weapons you want to use and when. Many of the advanced weapons are strictly rationed (you may only get one of each), and if used improperly can do as much damage to your own worms as to others. Some of the new weapons are pretty wild. There's the super sheep, a steerable flying ewe of destruction; a mad cow stampede; and--one of my favorites--the old woman who ambles around the map complaining about the price of tea and mumbling about the good old days, then explodes. There's an almost child-like appeal in blowing up these worms. It's such a basic, simplistic game: no complex strategies, a single mission doesn't take more than ten minutes, and there's an infinite variety of maps. But, most importantly, Worms 2 delivers a hearty dose of good old-fashioned fun, and for that it comes heartily recommended. -- From DailyRadar.com -- DailyRadar.com Manufacturer's Description We're all Worms. Let's act like Worms! Sink your friends into the depths of the Martian gloop or leave them to burn in the lava pits of Hades. Tailor your cunning to suit the ultimate abuse of strategy and decency in the most addictive game ever to be called Worms!
