Hi I have 3 Beautiful fluffy Bearded white silkie Pairs for sale,7 month old an ready for breeding,they tame an extremely fluffy an now for some info on this fluffy ornamental breed of chicken,This breed was developed in the Orient,in Japan,There feathers don't have barbs or quills, and the birds look and feel like Persian cats hence given the nick name The Teddy Bear of chickens they 5 toed,an walnut combed,this breed is very docile,no fighting between all 3 roosters,do well in pens,not hard maintenance,an do not crow a lot or loud,hens are very broody,they lay 10 to 12 eggs at a time an hatch all,best mothers an the hens can incubate other eggs if put under them,the Bearded white silkie is more buff then your normal silkie meaning more feathery,with a fluffy beard under there wattles they do well in winter an summer an breed threw all seasons not a hard maintenance bird at all to keep,do not mess a lot an droppings are small,do not crow a lot or loud an can be kept in cottages since crowing is not loud like other birds,birds are mite free,legmite free an Bred to standard meaning right posture an no split wings,they R600 a pair all birds must go as pairs,the parents of all these Pairs are Show birds,All birds are tame an will follow you around an can be handled often,if interested contact me ,my birds sell fast so please working on a first come first serve basis.The roosters an hens are from different Parents so different gene pools when bred will produce best quality chicks because parents of these birds are show birds

Silkies are the quietest breed of chicken in the world and a completely flightless bantam, owing to the fact that they develop almost no flight feathers, remaining fluffy for their entire lives We currently have five black 7 month old roosters, one black year old rooster, two ashen 7 month old roosters, and two black 4 month olds. The roosters are R100 each individually, R75 each in pairs/trios We have one black 7 month old hen, just about ready to start laying her first clutch. She is R275, she is not available individually, but must go with a rooster making it R350 for the pair. One of the black 7 month olds is a rose comb, the rest are "floppy faced" (Unofficial term).
