Long gone are the days of those noisy bike trainers. The Saris H3 fits the trend of ever quieter direct drive trainers. According to the manufacturer the Saris H3 produces less than 60 dB of noise at speeds of 35 km/h. This is comparable to the noise of a coffee maker or modern dishwasher - really, you should hear it for yourself! Stability Even during the most intense workouts the Saris H3 will remain firmly in place. The cast aluminium is strong and durable. The flywheel weighs no less than 9 kg - more than those on most comparable trainers! A heavier flywheel makes for smooth riding that is very similar to reality. It can also take more force during the hardest training sessions or virtual races. Compatibility Of course, the most important question is whether your bike fits on this trainer. With the included adapters this should not be a problem for most road and mountain bikes. The trainer is quick-release compatible for rear hub widths of 130 mm / 135 mm, and thru-axle compatible for rear hub widths of 142 mm / 148 mm. The included cassette has an 11/25 toothing. For 12-speed XD/XDR cassettes Saris offers separate drivers which are not included but which are available on the website. The freehub is easy to remove. Virtual racing It goes without saying that you can connect this bike trainer with your favourite bike software, through Bluetooth or ANT+ FE-C. You can set the resistance yourself, see how much power you exert, and race online with other fanatics. Additional sensors are not required, as the trainer measures cadence, speed and wattage with 2% accuracy. With its 2000 watts the Saris H3 can simulate climbs of up to 20%. Size 55 Brake Type Rim Bike for sale Besides BSing around, frame has some minor faint scratches. Tyres will need replacing at a later stage. About 60%. Recently (Jan 23) did a full major service(R1000) at Singletrack Cycles. Bike has brand new Continental Grand Sport Race Tyres (R1500), new Shimano chain(R700) all wires replaced during major service, new handlebar grip tape, carbon Quinq wheels and Shimano Ultegra derailleur with Shimano 105 brake/gear levers. Small scuff marks here and there due to wear and tear but mechanically flawless. Also includes a brand new Saris M2 smart trainer (less than 3 months old) with quick release skewer and front wheel block. Rear Derailleur, chain, chain ring, casssette and some of the cabling have been replaced in the last year. Includes front riser block, skewer, 2 saddles, shimano pedals and cadence sensor. Brake Type Rim Xentis Mark 1 TT tubular REAR WHEEL only, with DT Swiss hub. Compatible with Sram or Shimano 10/11 spd. Lightweight, full carbon, four spoke aero design. Great choice for Track, Tri and TT. Hub is in excellent condition and runs silky smooth. As per picture, the only hiccup is a hairline crack in the carbon aero fairing on the drive side of the rear wheel which took an unfortunate knock during transit from original owner. The carbon outer rim which provides the strength to the wheel is 100% structurally sound. Fairing can easily be repaired. Happy to sell with or without skewer as preferred + Conti carbon tubular glue. Negotiable.
