Here we have on auction a complete set of Rhodesian miniature Honours and awards (medals) in the original presentation case as supplied by the Livingston Mint (Rhodesia) in 1979 as a Commemorative set. In great "used" condition - all miniature medals are complete and 100% correct including the respective clasps and buttons where appropriate. A great find indeed. Includes the original set no (no. 77 of 500) and the full colour brochure with specific detail regarding each individual medal and requirements for award.  Please see the pics for further detail and as a confirmation of the item and its condition as on auction. In total 49 Honours and awards in miniature. Postage quotes supplied at close of successful auction depending on the winning bidder and his/ her location! Set of three medals from Zimbabwe From left to right. Independance Medal This medal was awarded to those serving in Rhodesia in April 1980 - Rhodesian Security Forces, Commonwealth Monitoring Forces, ZIPRA and ZANLA. This medal is unique, being the first medal to have ever been issued to all sides of a conflict in the world. Liberation Medal Here is also an important award related to the period before the independence of Zimbabwe. It is the Liberation Medal (this is a 2 classes awarded, silver & bronze) and it was awarded to those who before 18 April 1981 (the date of independence of Zimbabwe) have given service to the establishment of the country. Mostly ex guerilla fighter. Please note that the ribbon attached is for the Medal for Long and Exemplary Service in the Army. Zimbabwe Service Medal Zimbabwe Service Medal awarded for 10 years of service. This medal is not attributed on the rim, but on the reverse.   Condition as per photo's      

Set Of Two Large Vintage Leather Suitcases, some of the seams need stitching, leather in very good condition with Rhodesian travel sticker. One lock needs repair

The original owner of this item was in the Rhodesian Army and in the BSAP Police Reserve (Blue Group Stick Leader). He made this display himself. The plastic covering is just a normal plastic covering. All items seem to be glued on the WWII Burma Star material colours background etc., for his service in WWII on the HMS Test. The plastic covering might show defects which are not actually on the items themselves. The back plaque cloth is that of the Southern Rhodesia Staff Corps. PATCHES: RHODESIA               : Never stitched, but glued. RHODESIAN ARMY  : Never stitched, but glued. BSAP RESERVE      : Never stitched, but glued. POLICE RESERVE   : Used, but good condition. Seems to have been washed. Glued. BSAP BLUE GROUP: Never used or stitched, but glued. BADGES (L-R): No. 1.: Very good condition: No lugs or pin. No. 2.: Very good condition, detail good. No lugs or pin. No. 3.: Very good condition, no lugs or pin. Glue visible under bottom paw area. No. 4.: Set: The first 3 all fine from top view, the last 3 where corners somewhat point together, has glue on top of those corners. RHODESIAN ARMY PATCH: You need to ignore the plastic covering, so hence the actual Rhodesian Army patch itself, basically ONLY has the following main faults on it top end: 1. Directly above the lion's left ear (Closest to his tail) is one white spot (On the red cotton border), the one to the view-able right of that, is a reflection only etc. 2. Directly below the pick handle bottom side, on the red cotton border, is one white spot. 3. On the RHS edge of the vertical red cotton border, as indicated by the white indicators, the green patch material comes through the red stitching a bit in 3 places, mainly on the thin edge side, not the top so much. That's about it.... Since this is an original person's plaque, I don't care to open it or interfere with it as such. Feel free to ask questions. Thanks....

The badge is in medallion form.  The reverse side of each medallion has the Rhodesian army badge.   There is slight "pressing" marks on the typed pages from some of the medallions as seen in picture 4 in the thumbnail.                              

 This stirling silver medallion set is in a very good condition. Medallions depict the emblems of the Rhodesian army regiments and corps, including the Selous Scouts. Set of 21 medallions in book form with slip case. 

 Cuff Links repaired and missing back clip,supplying extra set of cuff links to repair,plus Salisbury & District Blood Transfusion Badge.

  V1953 Capt Andrew L.A. on roll of NS/TF officers. Unfortunately no DOB or unit information was recorded.. No unit recorded on his epaulettes, so was probably a TF capt., not regular army. Comes with dogtags,Captain rank slip ons, miniature medals,ribbon bar,matching set of Rhodesian Army flashes and his full size medals.Named on 2 but not on Rhodesia Territorial/Reserve Service Medal which is also broken on the link suspender.
